I thought i'd just put a little but of an update of whats happening and whats going to happen. We've played a couple of shows and are starting to find our feet now eg. not playing ever song at 100000BPM and not having "nervous vibrato" on every note.
We're playing at the empress in a week with hands that break hands (my disco met dynamite.... boom then put some up tempo indie dance beats. choice.) and the wind rises, electric (90's screamo with modern edge. pretty sick) hopefully we'll play some new tracks we got going.
We go to record in a few weeks which is scary since we're so under prepared but so far the EP looks like this
"I'd have more friends" - loop intro thing kind of majestic but not really
"If i took drugs" - loud bits with hints of beauty
"RedIsCover" - delay and noise city
"Stella" - quiet song with peaks
*Covers* *We haven't researched getting permission from these artist yet so i guess we'll see what happens*
"This charade has lasted well past its curtain call" - Love like electrocution
"Alice practise" - Crystal Castles
And then hopefully some riffs and ideas that will eventuate into a couple more songs.
